Been very busy with no time for detecting but made time Sunday evening to go hunt my CW ghost town site and what a great hunt. Was using the stock coil and my TTF set up in the heavy square nail carpets. It is a bone dry cow pasture on private property and the lack of moisture made the high tones come alive. It has taken me 40 years to find the elusive seated half 1858 o with exfine detail and the nick was not my doing lol .
Also found a nice flat button with shank intact not pictured. The little holed coin is a 1850 20 cent French coin the dia. of the half dimes but even thinner .
Broke my relic shovel in my hurry to dig in the rock hard soil as darkness was closing in fast and I wanted to clean out my newly found hot spot
Sorry about the pic quality as I used my cell phone, Ray.
PS This reminds me I better order another relic shovel !

That was an Incredible hunt! I could not imagine pulling that many Seated coins in one hunt.
You don't see the Seated Halves or Half dimes too often, Way to go!

Glad you got it off your bucket list. Hopefully, I'll be able to take that one off of mine some day. It has been bone dry up here for months. Way too dry to do any digging. But with harvest just a few weeks out, I'm getting all excited for some field hunts. HH Randy
