ID Numbers Locking or sticking

I have been in areas running high sensitivity, and the ID numbers wont change from sweep to sweep.
I have had to actually lift the coil a foot or so in the air for it to give me a reading.
What are your thoughts on this?
Do you lower sensitivity?

I have been lifting my coil until the numbers start updating just like you're doing. As you know the threshold has to return before numbers will update. Lifting the coil is one way of getting this to happen.Reading your post gave me another idea. Switch to manual and drop sensitivity until the numbers start updating.

Same here with higher sens. Also had the same thing with the Explorer11

Thanks Silvereagle,i will give that a try.
