Just bought my 1st Minelab Detector

JMT Detectors

New member
I just purchased my first Minelab detector and it's an E-Trac. Hopefully it's not a great learning curve for me. If all is well I will try it out Friday. I've gone detector crazy lately. It's a sickness. Hah!

Good for you! I would trade alot of them away but not the etrac! If you need help...let us know! Good luck to you!

Congratulations: You will be pleased. Do exactly what it says on the inside page of the manual, turn it on and noise cancel then hunt. Get familiar with what all the buttons do before you start pushing them and you should do fine. There are some very knowledgable people on this forum that can help you if you have any problems. HH :minelab:

Yes - be sure to get a copy of Andy's book - and good luck with your new E-Trac !

Believe it or not I bought it before the detector. Thanks guys...
