LEAK PREVENTION

The creation of the 700/900 was basically the “leak prevention” answer to the 600/800 models.

I’m not sure if it was ever determined where they actually leaked other than a video “Gigmaster” made showing that his leaked around the charging port.
I also read where others stated that water was in the battery compartment when they opened it.
I have never taken mine in the water and it is out of warranty now, but I did look at the battery compartment while looking at the method to replace the battery.
I noticed there were two O rings, but they did not have any silicone grease on them.
I actually applied some to the O rings before putting it back together in the event I ever decided to use it in water.
