Life Is Good

I went back to my 1st house hunt today feeling I had to miss something yesterday and I switched to the Andy coin pattern to see if I could get any more deeper signals. I was there for about an hour and only came up with 3 more deeper wheats and a 1901 Indian penny. Since all the digs have been so deep I used my small homemade shovel that digs much quicker, well it broke and that ended my day ...To top it all off, the man that owns the house brought me out a ham sandwich and a ice cold coke. Can you beat that... Damn, LIFE IS GOOD.

Herb I would get a Lesche shovel, many models available they are incredible strong and cut a very nice plug as well, I use the Predator Dixie primarly for field hunting but would not be adverse to using it in a yard if it did not cause a problem with homeowner....perception!

Wish I could run into a couple on the East coast.

I miss Texas.....

Yes...Growing up in New England as a kid I soon realized how bitter and unfriendly people were, When I moved to Texas in 1960 I was shocked how open and care free everyone was and is.
