So sorry to hear about your father, I didn't know him but i feel he left not only a lot of good memories with you
and the family,but also things that are as i call them grandfathered through time, He spent his whole life raising a family he loved
and passed on the feelings and beliefs that will live on forever through you and your children.

Very sorry for your loss.....lost my 82 yr old mom to a sudden heart attack last Dec. 23rd so I feel your pain. You can be certain that he's up there somewhere keeping an eye on you. You'll be in our thoughts and prayers.
 
So sorry to hear about your loss. The memories I have of my Dad and I metal detecting will always be a treasure in my heart. He and I started hunting together only five years ago. You are blessed to have those types of memories for years and years of hunting together. I pray that God heals your hurts and gives you joy in your memories.

Ray I want to send my heart felt condolences for the loss of your father . I lost my father over 4 years a go and he was my best friend . I still miss him each and every day . Just remember the good times that you had together, those are memories you will treasure forever.

So sorry for for your loss.My father is 77 and I see him slowing down more every time I visit.

Dads and Moms both create a lot of memories stored in the back of our minds.You'll start to remember alot of the good times and not just big moments but also the small ones that seemed insignificant at the time.

Sorry to hear of you're loss,I lost my best friend @42 and my grandfather in a 5 month period both to cancer,I feel you're loss brother,my prayers and sympathy go out to you and the family. Mole
 
My thoughts are with you Ray. Sounds like you'll always have a part of your Dad with you. That's wonderful!
 
My thoughts go out to you. My father will be 94 next month he will probably outlive me.
