Manticore Tones

Bought that 8 or 9 inch.
The one everybody loves.
Thanks again.
I ordered my Manticore with the 9”. Put it on right away and never have used the stock coil. Right or wrong I mimicked what I did with my etrac and the 6x8sef. I did try the stock coil on my etrac but the sef blew it away on separation in iron and was comparable in depth. After hearing others experiences with the 9” on the manticore I figured it was a similar scenario.

I get about 1" more depth with the M11 compared to the M9 in my ground.----Although the M11 gets a little more ground coverage I much prefer using the M9 (for several reasons).------That M9 is a fantastic coil---Minelab should have made it the stock coil for the Manticore.

Well at least it does seem like he calmed down some.
I did go back and check my audio. I forgot to adjust the profile after the reset. The last outing had the tones I am used to hearing.
As far as the cross, I would say a VDI in the single digits up to maybe 15. A cross that thin won't give much of a report. Thats just my opinion. Also don't forget to use the trace, could prove quite helpful. Good luck.
Finally found one like the wife's.
Though her's had three 1/4 karot diamonds across the parells.
I just bought an Arrow coil for the V3i.
Made for the MXT. Though seems to function properly on the V.

What's do you guys think this will ring up as ?
Her's is 1 1/2 inches long.

I'm wondering about the loops.

I'm very limited time on my feet.
Can't walk much more than a 150" before leg's go into spasms.
Cross can't be more than a couple inches down.
Only a couple years lost now.

I'd love to use the Manti.
Though I need maximum ground coverage at this point.
Almost two acres to detect.
And I just can't dig Everything today.

I was testing a cross like yours today. I am just about sure it will fall in the 1-10 range. You might notch everything but this range first. Even foil will run a little higher. I run in the 5 revovery range because its best for trashy areas that most of us face. Select one and leave it there.
