Hopefully it does well for me.M9----One excellent coil on the Manticore.
I finally got all the coils for the manticore, I really like the m15 on open ground and I can still slice through the targets with ease , m8 coil is ideal looking for your cross. M9 is just a outright performer no matter what your hunting for.i do use a sling for the sweet15 lolHopefully it does well for me.
Gotta figure out this toned thing though.
My only coil is the 9"for my Manticore I sold my 11' absolutely love it!Bought that 8 or 9 inch.

I ordered my Manticore with the 9”. Put it on right away and never have used the stock coil. Right or wrong I mimicked what I did with my etrac and the 6x8sef. I did try the stock coil on my etrac but the sef blew it away on separation in iron and was comparable in depth. After hearing others experiences with the 9” on the manticore I figured it was a similar scenario.Bought that 8 or 9 inch.

I get about 1" more depth with the M11 compared to the M9 in my ground.----Although the M11 gets a little more ground coverage I much prefer using the M9 (for several reasons).------That M9 is a fantastic coil---Minelab should have made it the stock coil for the Manticore.I ordered my Manticore with the 9”. Finally found one like the wife's.Well at least it does seem like he calmed down some.
I did go back and check my audio. I forgot to adjust the profile after the reset. The last outing had the tones I am used to hearing.
As far as the cross, I would say a VDI in the single digits up to maybe 15. A cross that thin won't give much of a report. Thats just my opinion. Also don't forget to use the trace, could prove quite helpful. Good luck.
Check out “Digging Deep Detecting” on YouTube. I don’t know what settings he is using but he finds some of the smallest silver fur trade items I have ever seen. Small wire crosses, ear rings, necklaces, etc. Hits that are deep and his Manti seems to slam them.Odanscrolls, Goodluck on the wire cross beause you'll need some prayers too. I recently found a wire cross, silver (? can't remember), and the Manti could barely touch it and even worse, when I was finally closing in on it the Manti lost detection of it. Feeling around I found it. But VID 1-3 for sure. Manti No like thin wire.
Watched 1/2 of the video and guess I understand what his point was. But my biggest issue re sound and the Manti is that when I switch between programs; multi and Gold Fields, that the sounds change. Haven't seen if I can change sounds for each individual program and IF they're permanently saved. Personally, I don't like any of the sounds except "normal".
