Need some honest answers here guys. I'm not that new to MD'ing but have 0 experience with a Minelab machine. No doubt they are a serious piece of electronics. But, I live in central (somewhat north of central) Alabama. The soil here can be crazy/difficult at times in alot of areas. High mineralization and lots of iron. I am becoming dangerously close to picking a Minelab as my next detector due to their reputation of handling bad soil easily. #1) Would the Minelab be a good choice for this area? #2) Looking at the Sovereign GT and the E-Trac....opinions on these choices please for this area? #3) Honestly, how complex is the learning curve on the E-Trac. I'm scared....very scared of this
