OK, let's get some posts going on finds & techniques . . . . here's one to start the ball rolling

I will jump in!
From the way i take this, On this example you are looking to find targets by TID numbers.
Setting for minimal falsing,so you can id the targets.
I myself choose this as the second option. The numbers, I will explain.

Almost always i run in manual,my procedure is:
Get more depth and better Volume response for a target, then identify it.
So,mainly i am hunting by sound, but just till i get a signal i want to identify.
I then switch from manual to auto with the touch of a button, here i can get a lot better TID verification.

I see,,, the increase in depth is a trade off for worse target ID,,, a smart trade IMHO,,,,,, and yeah, I am a tone hunter also,,,, numbers really mean very little to me on a good sounding target,,,,, come on Wednesday!!!

Hello everyone,

Andy S. thanks for uploading your pattern. I will try it the next time out, I am new to this hobby, I have gotten a pretty good package but KNOWLEDGE is key to good anything!

1 other thing, thanks to Andy for a wonderful book!

I have one question for all U MD friends.. is there a way to ISOLATE the frequencies in the E-Trac, I am just curious if you used another dedicated coil for gold if it would work or if you could set the frequency somehow on the e-trac to just detect AU?

Thanks,
chuckycheese
