so I headed out to one of those places you keep for days like this, when your strapped for time. Anyway, didn't turn up quite as old of coins as I did yesterday. But anytime I get back into the 1800's, I consider it a good outing. The 98 and 02 Barber dimes look like all the silver dug around here. But the copper and nickels came out of the ground looking like crap. But from what I can tell without scrubbing on them, the Shield nickel is an 1874, the V nickel is a 1902 and the IH cents are a pair of 1878's and one 1907. I'll give them a good soak and see what turns up. HH Randy
