Please list your favorite detector of all times

I mostly use an Equinox 800 right now and I like it a lot but out of all the detectors I have used over the years the Minelab Musketeer Advantage is the funnest detector I have ever used and still use to this day, I would have to say it is my favorite.

I have owned so many since 1968, it is hard to choose one. But, I guess if it has to be one, I would say the White's V3i.

Excalibur 800. I bought it new and she is a member of the family. I take her out every summer. Just wish I could get a New 8 inch coil for her.

The Equinox 800 all time favorite.
Owned: BH outlaw, whites 6000di pro, eagle 2sl, white spectrum xlt, sovereign, extera 705, AT pro, racer, v3i, safari, dfx, deus, f75, f19, t2, land ranger pro, etrac and a few others lol.
Using the legend right now. The Equinox, Deus, and Legend are the only ones I own now. Just parted with the f-19 to help bring in the Legend. I’ve owned a lot of really good machines. The last three years hunting with the equinox has been the most fun I’ve ever had metal detecting.

Overall the Deus would be my choice for the type of hunting I do.
I have used just about all of the higher end detectors over the years.
Minelab, Fisher, White's, Tesorso, Deus, Garrett, Compass, and a few El cheapo's.
You dont really "BUY" a detector you invest in it ... it give you return on that investment every time you use it.
So many detectors ... so little time.

I got into the hobby in 1987 bought a Teknetics Mark 1 - felt "got it right the 1st time" for years anyway ! i got a Fisher CZ-70 -i used years afterwards and i still feel its
the best machine i ever used -and i have tried several , Rick
