HOORAY!! I can't get my Library to get a subscription.............:ranting:

It is a trial period for students!
It will be gone after the 17th.

Great maps - thanks Ray !

This is nice. Unfortunately they don't print out and save with good resolution.

Hey DukeOBass, All you have to do is save them to a flash drive and then you can zoom in on them.

How does that work? I dragged one file to my desktop and and tried zoom in on it using a graphic program but, it distorted.

WOOOHOOO Awesome Bob thank you VERY much, i didn't even know this site existed!!! Got ALL of Sacramento!!!! you DA Man

I still don't understand. The sanborn maps have avalible online for years. The guy I bought my metal detector from turned me on to it and said this is where he goes to get info. on all the old towns. And you are saying they are going to do away with it?

Hey LabradorBob, The sanborn maps are already paying off. I found a little park on a corner lot in a town next to where my sister-in-law lives and it looked like it had some age to it and good hunting. After looking it up on the sanborn map I found out there was a school there in 1910. I can not wait til the snows gone to hunt it. Thanks again and HH. PS. You can overlay these on google earth right? i have yet to play with that feature. Again thanks.

Yes you can use them as overlays if needed, but most have the street names on them,
providing they didn't change the names,They sometimes do that!

I just downloaded over 800 map pages from Sanborn. Over 60 towns & cities worth. I can't see straight right now.... But it will be great research material!! Thanks again LabradorBob! I really missed those maps.
