~Silver Dime Trifecta..indians..CooL Relics~

Saturday Mr. Stuff (Dave) made the drive from Columbus to my neck of the woods again to do some hunting. We went door knocking and had a pretty good day.

One place was having a garage sale, and Dave asked them "how much for the coins in your yard?"....the owner was confused...lol. We explained we wanted to metal detect there and they gave us the green light. I got one lone rosie, and some clad.

Next house we went to, the owner said we could not do his yard but we were welcome to do his xtra large curb strip, man what a tease that was! The strip was loaded with wheats, got a silver quarter and Dave got a silver ring. I can only imagine how good his yard was!

We did an empty lot and that is where I got 2 of my indians and my barber dime.

Then we hit an old farm and I found my 3rd indian, mercury dime to complete my dime trifecta! This is the 5th silver dime trifecta I have got this year. I also found the neato masonic temple medallion here.

After today I am at 95 silvers, and 55 indians for the year.

Another great day hunting with a good friend!

Hey Man,

Is that 2 knives or 2 halves from the same knife? If I ever dig a knife with a good set of scales and bolsters, I think I would like to rebuild them to be a functional again.

5 trifectas, wow. I have not gotten a silver tri, YET.

Yet another great hunt.

2 halves from same knife, it crumbled apart when I removed it from hole, funny thing is, it gave an indian penny signal, depth showed 4 to 5 inches. I dug down, hit gravel and kept going to almost 8 inches to recover this knife. It took me about 15 minutes and a lot of sweat to get it out, so I will display it in my case...lol

Great finds Terry !:beers:
The way your going - I think it's possible that you have a shot at finding 200 Silver by the end of the season ! :detecting:
