Hello all!

It was hazy / foggy most of the morning and early evening hours in CT today...

5pm rolled around and it was time to hit Indian Park...

The first 90 minutes and I was thinking that I hunted this place out.... then I remembered.... nah... no place is ever hunted out...

12/31 @ 6".... 1898 Indian Head Penny (IH #36 for 2011)

15 minutes later can a 12/33 12/41 bouncing all over...

I dig down 5-6" and pop out an indian... hmmmm... Indian 12/41... nah... rescan the hole... 12/41 in the side wall... wahoo... shinny bling :)

This indian is pretty much toast... there is some vague detail there... not so much in the date area...

Indian Head Penny (IH #37 for 2011)

Indians can start depending on depth od 12/22 to 12/35 or anywhere in between... If all is well they should read 12/35 for you... and once you dig a few you will get to know the sound... These have been 3.5-9" mostly 6-8" at this park...
