Today hunt

Really Nice, love those silver's!

Top notch finds! Don't see too many double silver quarters in one hunt very much. Thanks for the pictures!

Congrats on the silver!

Very cool! How do you like the X-5 coil? It seems to work for you.

Like the x5 coil a lot , use it all the time , have gotten about 200 silver coin with it in about 11/2 yrs...

Nice job Johnny - any day you find silver is a great day !

I've been debating about getting a smaller coil for trashed out areas, I've been looking at the coils that are an inch or two larger than your X-5 like the SEF 8x6. Hadn't really considered the Sun-Ray 5" as I thought I would be giving away too much depth. Wanted something that would get at least 7-8" depth.

I am interested to hear about the type of areas you've searched with the X-5, your overall impressions of depth, any difference in target ID, and the X-5's ability to separate targets.

Thanks,

Rich

I use the x5 coil all the time no difference in target ID and it will get a dime at about 8" . I hunt around old homes and they have a lot of trash there sometimes. If it is not trash you can hunt some what fast but the more trash slower you go. I like all so my detector opened up where will not get iron but every thing form there up it well hit on. I did try the 6x8 butterfly but it was not for me.
