I had a blast today!

I was out for about 3-4 hours... It started out a little slow... but...

I was getting clad... and hit a spot that yielded 2 wheat pennies... and then I got a sweet sound @ 6-7"...

Not to far after that... was an iffy 12/35... I was thinking maybe indian... but nope...

Next was a nice 12/47 @ 6" and I was thinking more about silver... but the target was a mostly toasted Large Coppa...

12/35 again... and this one I had no Idea on the date... but knew it was IH from the back... Here is the pre-peroxide dip...

Well done! I am shocked that IH came out so nice after the peroxide. What is your technique for cleaning those up so well?

Just a small pyrex bowl... 2-3 ounces of Peroxide 90 sec in the microwave... put the coin in dry... take it out in 4-5 minutes and rinse under water with a light brushing... Repeat if necessary...

Paul

ah I gotcha - I thought you meant to say "put the coin in the drier" or something. Thanks for the tips, I might try that on some of my coins.
