    Door Pull

Obvious what it is but......on the front it says Pat Jan 20 1894. I'm no too great at these searches so I'm throwing it out here. My dad found it on his 114 year old homestead. He has been there for 38 years.

    3 Ring Weekend!

This is a first for me. Found the two Silvers in the same back yard. The turquoise is really cool the other is ugly but both Silver. The "rope" ring is gold plated. It appears to be hand made found it in at a different house. Both places were 1905-1920. One hunting buddy did find 4 silver dimes...

    SLQ on Saturday

    Bank savings box

From what I have been told, the banks would issue these boxes and keep the key. When you had filled the box you would take it back to the bank, they would then open you a savings account and give you the box back to fill again. Can't see it in the pictures but there is a double coin trap in it...

    Thursday Quick Hunt

Got out for a quick hunt last night with a buddy (Dr. Tones). Here are a couple of picks. The token is self explanatory but the fob I an not sure of. Any ideas? This was a 1905 house. It had obviously been tilled because there was no rhyme or reason to the depths of the targets new deep, old...

    Saturday at a ghost town

Didn't get a lot of time to hunt but found a few cool items. Man those ghost towns are trashy. People didn't have any way to dispose of things so they just threw them out. small coil, slow swing and lots of patience....

    Coil weight

Recently got the 10.5" DD coil. Love it but it makes the 705 a bit nose heavy after swinging the 9". I was wondering if there is a way to balance the machine with out adding a lot of weight.

    Sunday's 1922 homestead :clapping:

Turned out to be a good hunt. 1922 farmstead around the corner from me. The wind was blowing drowning out my head phones and I had to run the 705 wide open (all metal), because of the amount of trash, with the big D/D coil and listen for good tones. Crazy in my brain but it payed off. Been here...

    Sundays hunt

Did a 2nd hunt at a couple locations that have produced good relics. Tough 2nd hunt but picked out a few cool targets, no silver this time. Brass lamp part, or something like that. Rouge compact, I didn't get a picture of the back but it was made in New York. Vintage 1997 Chuck-e-Cheese token...

    Who met my Brother?

You were looking for an old school in Jerome County Idaho yesterday and spoke with the county extension agent. Just curious. I asked if he had gotten a name. No was the answer. Just trying to meet new detectorists.

    My Brother tells me....

I already know what it is but thought I would share. Maybe this should have gone in the "today's finds" section. If it gets moved that's ok. This is a 38 cal. cap and ball pistol round. It was found at an 1860's historic mining town site. This place is so full of trash I was amazed I found it...
