    Aquasearch Problem

Ive managed to keep my Aqua running for all these years--two cases later. Its now in a BHID case--rock solid. the problem is that it blares unless the SAT is almost full. Wondering if there is some internal adjustment to settle it down. I've swapped out the SAT pot--no difference. Its the...

    A Great In-Iron Tip

Just noticed that when you are trying to tell if something is iron--one effective way is to hit the Pinpoint, drop right down on the signal and then move off to one side. Then listen for how it cuts out. If you hear a sharp, abrupt change at each side--thats the machine tuning out the iron...

    An Anfibio Tip

I see a lot of guys posting that they knock out a few high numbers to prevent wrap responses. My take on this method is this: When you want to have a good idea if something is a false or anything that's corroding--with these numbers accepted, you can see maybe "94" "("97" etc--the signal...

Got the Anfibio Out in the Iron Today...Wow!

Finally a thaw here had a chance to run this detector in the iron at some old sites. Very impressed with the new coil --makes the machine considerably deeper than even the Impact and Kruzer. Superb audio as well--I can really hear everything in the ground--set at disc zero the heavy iron areas...

    ...A Tip...

Lot of people ask: "how can I find a big load of loot like ol' Clive?" Well the first thing you gotta do is get your self a a bunch of headphones.... ...and I'll give you another tip from an old local hunter over here: "...get your self a big box of Q-Tips and clean all the wax out your ears so...

    Two CTX Tips

Had an inexplicable series of leaks with this machine and after determining that it wasn't the gaskets (two cells and one bulkhead later) discovered that it was the actual clips wearing. Now the covers are all shimmed with bits of plastic to make for a secure seal. Second thing: If you plan...
