2007 Garrett Buyer's Guide is online, and I'm in it!

Man it was exciting to see a bunch of my pictures used in the guide. Only a few are used by the small blurb about me (Dan B. from Ohio in the Guide, in the ACE section) but my pictures are scattered around the catalog too!... I'd like to take a second and thank all the great Garrett users here...

    9 x 12 coil on ACE250...testimony requested

the larger ACE250 coil is advertised as giving "more depth for larger object...great for relic or cache hunting" So is that it??...will it give any increased depth for COINS?? I have a few hotspots that would be great to re-work, knowing I am getting an inch or two on my stock coil. Does it...

Nice old "stuff" and my own cookie coins!

I was out hunting an area near my home that was an amusement area in the 1800's in a gorge/cliff area by the Cuyahoga River (Cuyahoga Falls Ohio). The area was quite popular with a roller coaster right down in the ravine, a dance hall, picnic area, and boardwalks and bridges everywhere. The area...

Any ACE250/Garrett users in NE Ohio besides me wanna check out an old camp?

On a recent camping trip near Pymatuning Lake, my son and I went exploring a heavily wooded area on a tip from an Andover Ohio cop about a 1800's-early 1900's camp that was abandoned when the lake was impounded (1930's) After sweating and swatting mousquitos (that IGNORED deep woods off) we...
