    compass metal detector

    I think Rick is right, [ 3 battery packs of 4 AA batteries in each pack ] Each pack has a connector looking like a 9 volt battery. some parts of the circuits use different voltages

    I used to see them 70 years ago when I was a kid LOL & I seemed that they were not flat like Jim says & in the smaller end it curved around for a finger. What you found is neat, what-ever-it-is

    it does so 3 batts but nothing about voltage, etc. I had a Compass relic magnum 6 but I don't remember anything about batts, I found this schematic years ago to hoping it would help mine that quit but somebody stole it first, :LOL:

    Question.

    I threw down a quarter & a penny in the front yard a few months ago, just to hear my detector sound off. But both have dirt on them & can't see them now, so I guess is either up or down :shrug:
