    XP Deus II operators manual

Like most of you I'm really looking at the new Deus II. I believe it will great machine judging from the two I have. Also, I don't think quality and capability will be an issue. However, will forgo the rush to buy and at least wait until the user manual is posted on their website and I see some...

What I hope is on the new Deus... Lower iron volume setting. Whats your hope for the new machine?

I think one of the best features on the Whites V3i is you can see what frequency is hitting the best when you are over the target. Probably not going to happen but a guy can dream.

Get Ready | XP Metal Detectors

If it is a Simultaneous Frequency machine, I hope that it tells you which range of frequency is getting the best target responce. The V3i has that ability and is a great tool for target analysis. Can't wait to see what its abilities are.

Does Garrett plan on releasing new Whites products

I’m with you on the updated V3i. Speed it up with new processors and cut out the things that only confuses even the advanced detectorist. I have mine set up for my conditions and base different programs off of that. Basically making it a simple machine for me that is a killer machine. However...

    Understanding the HF coils

Hey Folks Dumb question #50 One of the common declarations of the HF coils is that they separate targets better in iron. This is commonly known, but why? Is it because the smaller and more rapid wavelength creates a "high definition effect" that has the ability to divide the high...

    High grass problem solved

One other use for this is to strap my detector bag, shovel, and water jug. Pull it behind me as I walk. Adapt, Overcome, Improvise.

Im Dumping The Wife And Detecting..!!

My wife is great! She doesn't mind if I go if I'm not neglecting my responsibilities and rightly so. If it wasn't for her I would be living in a smaller more efficient house that doesn't need much upkeep, everything I need and no more, have a specialized vehicle that could get me to all of my...

where is the new deus multi ??

Agree with you ORH. The audio is superior. There is so much to the audio and the other companies should give more attention to. Deus does make it fun. More times that I can count I have dug junk even though I know that the audio gave clear signals that it was a low percentage target. Enjoy the...

    Anfibio firmware updates

I would like to see the ability to save different frequencies to different programs without going into the settings. Also, the ability to adjust the recovery speed.

where is the new deus multi ??

I don't know but if Deus does finally come out with a simultaneously freq detector, I hope it shows which frequency is hitting the hardest. That is one of the V3i's best attributes. Now that Garrett owns the V3i, they would be well suited to take advantage of some of the V3i's capabilities...

    Funny story about dirt fishing

Since I was a kid, I knew what metal detecting was but on several occasions, I have been asked by younger and some older adults what I was doing. Never thought this passion would be so foreign to so many people. Some of them just looked at me as I was missing a few neuron connections and got as...

    High grass problem solved

As an avid relic hunter, I'm tired of getting permission to only find out where I want to swing the grass is knee high. Last month I picked up this jewel on Facebook Marketplace for half the cost. Also bought the blade attachment and the heavy-duty blue line for thicker grass and weeds. Plan on...

The called shot. Babe Ruth and the Buffalo

Last weekend I went to my new permission and started out. After an hour of finding several wheat pennies the owner came by and we spoke for a while. As we parted he said "good luck". I replied, "you never know my next hole may be a silver quarter". As he drove off I got a high solid tone with...

    GLO maps and Maprika

Just wanted to see if anyone has any luck with using Government Land Office (GLO) maps combined with Maprika to find locations? Do you find the Old GLO maps accurate or just a guesstimate of where these old locations are?

What makes your metal detector good? How to become a better detectorist? Do you care?

I consider myself as one of the 10%ers who take this lifestyle seriously. I have never been involved with anything that challenges me in so many different aspects. Hunting technique, historical research, mapping, detector capabilities, gaining permissions, soil types, contamination types, and...

whats the best detector you ever owned?

Leatherneck I have to agree with you 100% and I'm not saying this because I'm on a Whites forum. Like many of us in this game, I own several metal detectors, and if they cant go off on a 9 inch silver dime, I get rid of it. I have currently moved that threshold up to 11 inches and in my soil...
