    Pirate Pro volume mod ?

    Is there anyway to increase the volume on a Pirate Pro ? Was hopeing I could get the deeper signals to sound off louder. With a lot of background noise it is hard to hear the faint signals. Thanks, Mark

    NEL Tornado coil on a 1280x

    There is a detector manufacturer that uses the 1280x circuitry in their detectors. Recently they came out with a new model that uses the old 1280 circuit, but they use a NEL Tornado 12"x13" coil.     Does anyone use a T2 in the red Virginia dirt for relic hunting ? Will all low conductors respond as iron?     Concentric coils ?

    Anyone use either of Garretts concentric coils on their AT Gold or Pro. Concentric coils discriminate rusty bottle caps out much better than a DD coil. Thought one of these coils might be good to have for coinhunting older areas that have a lot of bottlecaps. Not the best coil for bad...
