    The " HUNTED OUT " Field . . . :shrug:

    . . . Keeps on giving them up ???? Nice long Enfield, several musket and canister balls, 2 iron canister balls, misc shell frags , brass rivet etc. Used the F75 in all-metal mode.

    Pretty Good Day Diggin Yesterday .....:detecting:

    Found a few bullets , .69 cal, .58 cal, .54 cal , musket balls, camp lead , buck ball , misc rivets etc. and a hat company letter "N" . Hunted an area that has been pounded for 30 + years. Ran the F75 at 99 sens all metal. It was a good day of digging yesterday near Port Hudson. CCH

    I bought the Garrett pro-pinpointer from Flintstone with no problems. He offered it at a very fair price and it was in great condition so i immediately told him i would take it at the price he wanted. I would recommend doing business with him to anyone on the forum. CCH

    Hunted a soybean field near an old Civil War Hospital house. I know that this description or term is used "loosely" in the detecting community but this one is very well documented. Some of the wood floors in the house still have a dark tint as evidence from ole sawbones doing what he could do...

    We went out again today and made a few finds. The weather was sunny and cool. Love to hunt in the "winter" here as the temps were in the low to mid 60's. Loved this carved bullet from a sharps carbine , the .36 cal pistol bullet, finial , variety of pistol bullets, umbrella piece Enfield...

    Loved this schenkle shell fuse too. I found the top part and my step son found the bottom part (it is broken but a perfect match) about 150 yds away with my detector .... go figure. HH and Merry Christmas. CCH

    Went out with my buddy DP. We both dug a good bit of relics today and pretty much an equal amount of stuff. Here's what i found. ( Misc lead , artillery shell and cannonball frags, Portion of Brass Sabot from 30lb shell, boorman fuse part) Thanks for looking. The weather is getting better...

    Civil War Relic Finds 4 Oct :detecting:

    Made a few neat bullet finds and a few misc finds to include these nice Sharps and Hankins .54 cal Carbine minies. Rare bullets in my opinion but i find a couple in one particular spot every now and then. Thanks. CCH
