    Open middle is an older design. Had the newer design with ribs and it was heavy. Think the older open one would be better balanced and lighter.

    9 volt batteriesfor tesoro

    I too have a alkaline battery charger. Problem is the batteries tend to leak and discharge sooner after recharging. Never tried to recharge nine volt batteries so don’t know if it’s a problem. One thing that’s nice is this charger will charge the high capacity nine volts to nearly eleven volts.

    Used Minelab Prices

    Am I the only guy that is POed over the resale value of my CTX and ETrac? Since the Equinox’s came out the resale values of my CTX 3030 and ETrac are in the toilet. It would be a challenge to trade either for a Equinox 600 or 800 straight up. Same issue with the Impact, now worth half as new...

    Will 4 pin Cleansweep coil work on a Lobo?

    I was curious if anyone had any experiences using a Cleansweep coil on a Lobo. Since it runs at a higher frequency will that be a issue with the Cleansweep? Just purchased the 4 pin Cleansweep and have heard it’s a whole different animal than a 5 Pin. Much better depth and sensitivity. Anyone...

    9V Battery question

    I have a few Tesoro’s that operate on 9 volt batteries and I was wondering if anyone had ever experienced a leak with these batteries. Thinking back, I cannot recall ever seeing a 9V battery leak. Any experiences?
