    Question on cell phones...

    I'm getting the GB pro DP. In the past I had trouble with interferrence while wearing a cell phone using my tesoro umax detectors...Has anybody noticed an interference on the GB while wearing their cell phone on their belt ?

    Ok, I'll be using a GB pro DP.....

    I've decided to go with the GB Pro DP to hunt the parks in NY. Hope to find a few coins to cover my new toy. Figure I will have 2 hours a day 3 days a week. Not counting days lost to bad weather. Hoping to make some of the cost back before August... BTW I have faith in MONTE.

    g-2 or goldbug....

    Ok, I realize that they are the same effectively.. What I am thinking about is how do I get to the park? I'll be riding my mountian bike for about 1 mile each way. So I need to tie the detector to the bike frame between my legs. I'm wondering if anybody else uses a bicycle for transport and...

    Gold bug vs g2... Ok, my understanding is they are the same though different mount and coil combo ???? So the electronics are the same..... Am I understanding it correctly ? So which do you prefer and why ?

    Step one complete...

    OK, I've downloaded and printed out the form to apply for a permit to detect NYC parks. and filled it out,and mailed it to the parks and rec dept today. We shall see if I get approved an how long it takes to get back.

    This is a question and It is not meant as a failure by any detector... I'm just wondering what the smallest gold you've found and with which detector did you find it? Smallest I've found is stii quite big by comparison to what I find with my drywasher. But small by comparison to what I've seen...

    Can you explaine to me what the g-2 has over the lst ? Trying to see where it stands. Is it lighter ? does it discriminate and also hunt coins ? I do not know much about the g-2
