    Hit a favorite Old Grove

    Hit a favorite Old Picnic Grove in my old town. It has been pounded to death but a beautiful peaceful spot so was surprised to pull a 1899 Barber dime and what I believe is a old Crackerjack toy? I was using the Golden uMax. It seems to always pull a keeper or two no matter how pounded a site is.

    CZ-3D gets first silver of the year

    It's just a Rosie but thought it was cool to find it in the whole with a nail. It was so loud I thought it was shallow but it was over 8". I almost forgot how deep a good CZ is. I guess these old 'outdated' analogs can unmask too. Ha!

    MXT PRO VS. DFX on Silver?

    I am curious if the MXT-PRO can split hairs on Numbers and tell Silver from clad like DFX? I had a DFX that could tell a Silver from clad by numbers. It would give a Clad Dime 78-79 and Silver 80-81. Just curious as know they are both fine Detectors, But always thought the DFX was underated.

    How many New Tone Goldens?

    I was wondering if anyone has a idea how many New Tone Goldens were made? I heard something like 25? That sounds too low though. Just Curious as Don't see many for sale. They started at serial number 190900. Mine is 190907. Maybe someone has a high number one? Thanks.
