Adopted Again...We're back to being a 4 dog family.

I was walking for my "morning" walk and this guy had these 3 pups (2 months old I think) and was taking them to the pound so they became members 2, 3, and 4 of our family. They seem to be adapting quite nicely but our 1st rescue is still reserved, We're a full family again.

Booklet of my local park maps....

As you can see, I have waaaaaaay too much idle time! I made copies (from Google maps) of everything in a 25 - 30 mile range of all the local parks and printed them in the 4x6 size to fit in one of those cheapie 4x6 photo albums ($2). Most of these I never heard of so now I have even more...

Looking for photographs of HOLES left by a MD moron!

    We got adopted....again!

We put our trash out one night and was taking out another item the next morning and found another box placed next to our trash cans and I could hear something inside.....he was very underweight...vet put him on an I.V. and he survived to sit on my lap on a regular basis.

Okay...okay...you all were right about the sniper coil...

even though I've had mine for way over a year I only used it once and WASN'T impressed. The standard coil has been great for all the areas I've hunted but then I went to a park that was incredibly trashy...I couldn't swing the coil or move in any direction without multiple hits. Went back to my...

Tejon question about DISC and loss of depth

I use a Vaquero. Called Tesoro and they said that when adjusting the DISC, that the farther right you turn that knob, the less depth you get so....when you find a target (say in the 6+ inch range) and you turn the DISC knob to the right to see where it "falls out" that in some cases the target...

ACE 250...decided to NOTCH IT ALL OUT!

ACE 250...what happens when you notch it all out? I was at another park and decided to NOTCH IT ALL OUT! Try it sometime. I do this during the summers when it's too hot to wear the headphones. Of course you neck can get stiff since you don't take your eyes off the screen but I'm not one of those...

    ACE 250 and "Cherry Picking"

Was experimenting with "cherry picking" and had notched out everything except segments #4 (nickels) and segments #9 - #12 (dimes, quarters, half dollars, dollars). As you can see, I still dug some of the things that I had notched out (bottle caps and misc metals) because they hit good (even if...

    Question about NOTCHING VS DISCRIMINATION....help!!!

I have an ACE 250 and a Tesoro Vaquero. On the Vaquero, I find a target and can turn the disc knob until the target no longer makes a sound and that can give an indication of what it is......however......the more discrimination you use (by turning the disc knob more and more to the right), the...

question for AT Pro users who used to have an ACE 250

My question is on the DIGITAL TARGET ID 0-99 feature...on my ACE I've numbered the 12 segments from 1-12 and nickels falls on segment #4. So do gold rings and platinum rings and other jewelry. Others hit on segments 5 and 6 (or pulltab). If something hits on my ACE on segment #4 and on the AT...

Question on Tiger Shark VS Sand Shark

What is the advantage and disadvantage of one over the other? If I'm planning to hunt the beach, wet sand, and shallow surf with no intention of scuba diving, just what I can walk, what would be the best for me? Would it be better to get the bigger coil right from the start? Thanks to the...

how many of you run your machines in ALL METAL regularly?
