    Exciting new Whites detector huh!

The reply from Steve Howard answered a lot of questions. That "Trifield" meter of my buddys has been a very interesting instrument for him... I work in a metal detector dealership, he brought his meter to the shop, and the Minelab Sovereign, and Explorer nearly blew his needle off the scale...

Thanks for responding Steve, I appreciate it... My buddy has a US built RF meter and he takes RF readings for his protection, he has had some surprising readings! Exciting new Whites detector huh!

I have a detecting buddy who has Parkinsons... He has a deep brain probe to control his Parkinsons, and has to avoid strong RF like microwave ovens, welding etc. He can't use Minelab broad band spectrum detectors because of the RF they put out, worse still are the full band spectrum...

    My Pocket Uni Probe holster.

I figured I'd build a support system for my Pocket Uni probe... I cut it from some soft ( nearly 1/8" thick ) soft leather . The plastic tubing I used for the holster was made from some scrap 1" PVC tubing. I flared the end of the tubing by heating the last approx 3/4" of it up until it...

I made a holster for my Sunray X1

I saw a post where a guy made a holster for his X1, I thought it was a great idea ! And I made one for myself. Thought I'd share what I did. # I have also attached a piece of elastic to my X1 to give me a momentary pinpoint switch. To make the holster tube I used some 1 3/8" dia...

ETracs first trip, weird sixpence find !!!:clapping:

Got to the beach with my ETrac for the first time... Only had 1 1/2 hours, but did pretty good! That ETrac is just the smoothest most stable detector I have ever operated... Much to learn! + Fun to learn !!! 4 $1 coins, 2 $2 coins, 1 penny,1 cent. I was at the beach primarily to place Mums...

Went on a 13 day trip interstate...

Went away for 13 days, my grand daughter immediately gave me a virus that knocked me flat for ten of our 13 days...:stretcher: The SE was only swinging for a few hours, but she produced for me a nice silver 1943 shilling at 11 inches... And a few other coins as well... Better luck next time !!!

Concentric or widescan, ~ :surrender: how to test ???

Our Tesoro distributor has also dug up an 8 1/2" un-labelled Tesoro coil with a 4 pin Lobo plug, ~ it is a solid coil, ( that with no hole in the center ) he's not sure if it is a wide scan. I'm figuring that because the coil is an 8 1/2" coil with no hole in the centre, that it is a wide...

    Remember the Hole Hog ???

I don't know if this great U.S built turf plug tool is still around... Beautifully built tool, thought some pics of it would be worth sharing. The main tube is 9" long by 3" diameter. It is 11" wide across the handles, and the black knob controls the plunger disc... The label is...
