    Replacement headphones

    Excal and nulling

    I have been out every day for a month on our beaches. Setting are Disc1, Sensitivity6, Volume full, threshold just at buzzy bees, on disc. When i hit some iron i hear it null out. Sometimes the beez come back in 10 seconds. Sometime they come back after ten minutes. Question is this normal ?

    Threshold turns on, 5 seconds of tone then none

    Just got my new Excal. Turned it on, there was a tone for 5 to 10 seconds then nothing. Passed the coil over a metal piece no noise nothing. Admittedly I measured battery 8.6 volts. Charger puts out 18.50 volts. Could the problem be due to not enough voltage in battery. I am new to the excal...
