    Iron check on salt water beaches

    Looking for opinions from atx veterans. How effective is the iron check on a saltwater wetsand? Typically checking targets the size of a ring. 2g to 20g. Will a large gold ring register as iron if too close or far from the coil?

    atx de mounted with an infinium DD coil

    Have a used atx coming in the mail with a DD infinium coil. Anyone know if this setup is still waterproof or submersible ? Haven't taken a good look at it yet but want to get prepared if for sure it's not waterproof or anything else I might need to know for that matter.

    ground balancing the cz21 in shallow water and wetsand

    Recently got my hands on a new to me cz21 with 8" coil. Will be used primarily on salt water beaches... wetsand and up to chest deep. Any tips for ground balancing and will it have to be rebalanced when going from chest deep to wetsand and vise versa ?
