    Multi Freq Question

    When and how would one decide which freq to use, I had a core 15 kz used mostly for coin shooting. I know gold machines use higher freqs but what would you use 5kz for? Thanks John

    Depth readout

    I know some folks were concerned the the core read CM, does the racer read inches? Not a big deal for me since most readings are way off, just curious. HH

    This has probably been addressed but to those who own both machines, probably getting the fors first and then getting the racer do you find you like the racer better and use it more?     R/C Planes

    I have been flying the planes off and on since the 70's I've also been fishing off and on and do some kayaking. I had a ham license that I let expire. After the novelty of talking to people all over the world wore off I sold everything but still fun at the time.

    I'm driving out to CA in Oct, from CO, I'm getting on hwy. 50 (loneliest rd. in America) in UT I plan on hunting some old abandoned places along the way. Has anyone been out that way and has some advice? HH

    I'll be driving out to CA down PCH from SF to LA, I plan on stopping at lots of places such as Santa Cruz. I noticed on google earth the beach in Santa Cruz by the pier was pretty crowded. Has anyone done this beach? Can you CA locals suggest other beaches to hunt? What about Santa Monica pier...

    5" DD Coil

    Since the 5" coil is supposed to be a DD I've noticed when I move the coil forward and back and put the edge of the coil over a target I still get a signal. Other DD coils I had don't sound off unless you go side to side. Maybe because it's so small it picks up the signal anyway. Has anyone else...
