    Ferrite ring clip.

Guess it would make sense for it to be attached towards the coil, be interesting to hear from more knowledgeable people 👍🏻 I suppose it would hinder using the pinpoint mode though.

    Nox-600 or Nox-800..? What's Better..??

It’s peace of mind for me, with my 800 I know I’m hitting everything possible , if I had the 600 I think I would get the ‘ wonder if I’m missing anything ‘ thing . but I’m sure in reality the performance in multi is the same..... .....maybe

I just wish the 6” was 5” , I remember the 5” coil on the T2 being perfect even for the tightest stubble groupings

Is the equinox update worth it??

If it took longer than the 30 seconds it takes, it’s probably not worth it  if you don’t like it, spend a whole 30 seconds again and roll back

No, they are all scheduled protected sites, the fields that may be around the sites arnt though , as long as you’ve got permission from the land owner your free to detect them . i live close by Hadrian’s wall, but I can’t see many slaves having a gold coin to lose lol that gold 20 bucks is...

Any way to keep mineralized sand from getting inside 15"coil on nox?

A coil cover has a little ‘give’ in it, so it rebounds impacts and protects the solid coil . a coil will fracture eventually over time or if you hit rocks with it , if you don’t fit a cover . common sense to always have the cover fitted really. i just wish minelab did a fully covered coil...

Any way to keep mineralized sand from getting inside 15"coil on nox?

Just use a thin bead of silicone around all the edges , let it dry fully 24 hours and bobs yer uncle.... no more sand ingress , and still fairly simple to remove if you ever have to

    Why Do High Tones Vanish..?

Rather than checking with the horseshoe, check with 10khz and sweep in 2 different directions , if at anytime you see a minus number on the display it is deffinetly iron. even if your getting 18 18 17 18 17 Each pass. , then a -2 number sneaks in ... it will be iron

    New 4kHz and Multi-IQ

I’m sure I read somewhere it’s aimed for the Asian market , not sure why . perhaps it’s a depth improvement for high mineralised ground . ive played with it here in the uk, but dosnt seem to give any advantages on our mild soils

    3RD EQUINOX BITES THE DUST...

Perhaps buying a dedicated underwater machine is the way to go, minelab have had the best even many years ago . my watch is waterproof upto so many metres , but it was expensive so never goes into the water just in case.
