My friendly local neighborhood Minelab distributor...

...has stopped distributing Minelab. :(
He is an international distributor and hasn't been able to get any machines or service for 3 months so he dropped the line. I sold most of my equipment and scrap jewelry to finance a new machine and now I don't know what to do. Wait on ML to get the move over with and and hope they get their sh!t together...? Maybe they are concentrating on their gold machines... or maybe they are coming out with a new hobby machine... or maybe they just went to hell... Who knows? Maybe get a V3i with a defective coil and deal with shipping it back and forth a few times? What to do...?

Get ahold of Richard at Backwoods detectors,He is in the classifieds.

Thanks. If I do go with ML I will give him a try. Especially since the KellyCo banner link at top of page that says "Etracs now in stock" is false.

Some of the early V3's had coils that went out of null due to epoxy shrinkage, but I haven't heard of a bad D2 on the V3i yet.

Hopefully that is not because it takes about 6 months of heat cycles (100 degrees in TX) to shrink the epoxy.
I want to want a White's! But it's a fact that the White's guru's over at the White's official forum do all of their testing with the 6x10 coil.
Has anyone heard of anyone that prefers the performance of the D2? I haven't.
Anyway... Thanks for the referrals and PM's. Lots of great dealers out there I have not dealt with.
Thanks, Ron

Detector Depot had E-Trac's last week and they are great to deal with as I'm sure all forum sponsers are but they are close to where I live and know for a fact they go out of their way to satisfy the customer. :minelab:
