ok i got tired of the foam grip and it was starting to rip from cleaning so i put some texas leather on it lol
iv been running this for a few months now
oh and the wife wanted to tease me with this one photo

Now that's one custom machine! It looks very "Texas-sy".

I think it looks good, wouldn't mind having one myself.
BCOOP

Sure looks a lot more comfortable than the California version.
Nice going.

Great idea - the leather cover is the best handle cover I've seen yet - looks real easy to keep clean !

I don't know ... looks like you've received a lot of great posts on your leather handle cover.

Maybe your life has a higher purpose - to help other member's of treasure hunting community - rather than just digging good stuff for yourself !
You could begin by selling your E-Trac on the internet - buying a commercial grade sewing machine - and start mailing leather handle covers out all over the world - for free of course !.
I think this would be much more rewarding for you in the long run - much more rewarding than digging up dirty old coins and potentially disease laden pieces of gold jewelry!

HH ! --- Mark

haha me sending them out for free.
i like the coins and gold better than the leather handle makeing but good try lol.
for free ha thats funny

there is a guy selling them on ebay uk made of camo cordura, he also threatens in his sale to take legal action against anyone copying his invention, claims he has copyright
