    I am a relic hunter. Has anyone taken an Equinox to a site heavily hunted by the Deus and found anything? I love my XP but also loved my Etrac although it wasn't the best in heavy iron. I'd like to get another Minelab and the NOX seems to fit the bill. Just not sure it's leaps and bounds above...

    I have owned both and still have the which I don't use as much as my XP since I relic hunt. The V3i is a hotrod and can be very temperamental if you do not understand what the machine is telling you after adjustment. I find that in the early days I ran it too hot.     The Makro Racer 2 is only half as good as my XP Deus

    Three weeks ago I found a sweet 1856 Seated Liberty Dime up against a mesquite tree with my XP Deus but all I could find a few feet away with my Racer 2 was a lousy 1853 half dime.     my XP Deus with 9" coil in FAST mode with reactivity set to 5??? If my Deus had a smaller coil I probably wouldn't be shopping. I hunt heavy iron homesteads and want ultimate separation . Who's the king? XP or Racer 2 with 5"Thanks
