    Badge / tag

Of course there was a follow up email from the USFS. Wanting to know where we found it and if it was detected on private or federal land. It was our private land

    Badge / tag

Update. My wife sent photos to the US Forest Service. They replied. It is a livestock ear tag that the USFS used between 1965 and 1973. Not sure what livestock the USFS used to own. Will pass on if we find out. Might be useful in bar trivia 🤷‍♂️

    Badge / tag

I found this today. Looks to be aluminum. Shape makes me think USFS or BLM related. May take into the local office. GM- is likely either Gunnison Montrose or Grand Mesa - UNC I suspect is Uncompahgre. The local forest. No clue what it would have come off of thanks Claytargethntr

when I saw the manticore was coming out it perked my interest. Particularly size and weight, if it is a good machine. Was not thinking CTX, but I see several used hitting the market for pretty reasonable amount. Really curious to see how the two stack up.

If you were currently using a e-trac and looking at newer technology. What are the pros and cons of these two. Main hunting is old homesteads. Our property that bordered a late 1800s fort. Once or twice a year trip to the water (have an excalibur for that). Do either of these bring much to...

I have been on the hunt for a compact case for my Excalibur. Both for airline travel as well as to carry on my motorcycle. I found this padded tennis racket case at Walmart (not my favorite store) for $14. It has 2 pockets one for the coil, brains, and ears. And one that fits a three piece...
