    Canadian Half Dime

    Surprised to find this at an old park in the Midwest that's been pounded for years. Transitioned to the XP Deus 2 and have about 25 hours on it, after using the Etrac for years. Love the Etrac but was killing my shoulder.

    One of my better days

    Agree that sometimes unexplained reasons some days are better than others. The only things I did different this time was turning fast off and a little slower sweep speed. Always had fast on previously. But all things considered it might have been just luck. :)

    Public spot I have hunted for years. Couple weeks ago hunted it and didn't even find a wheat cent. Fast forward to yesterday then found these, go figure.

    First Seated of the year

    The seated dime is just about paper thin, at least the you can still see the date. Was using the stock coil today, normally use the 8x6 Sef.

    Bent up Barber Dime from last Saturday

    Took a hit from something in the past. Tried a new spot and looks like it might have some potential. Just detected a small spot, don't think it's been detected for awhile, found about $5.00 in older clad real quick along with those in the pic.

    Tuesday 2-1 Silver vs. Copper

    Just using the 6" EQ2. Not many days do I get more silver vs. copper. Pickins' were slim but I'll take them, not many more days left to get out. Really surprised at how the 6" sniffed out the Merc under those roots.

    Gave TTF a try

    One saved the day

    Got out early....frost was sticking to the coil. One of those days where you spend a few hours and only turn up three Wheats. Last 45 minutes and the SLQ saved the day.

    Sunday-Monday

    Finds from a couple days out. If you notice on the 1907 Barber Dime it has three small punch marks front and back. Some kid marking the dime as his? One of the Wheats is a semi-key 1912-S

    Pretty small, about the size of a US nickel, slightly skinnier. On the back side marked "Italy" near the top. Can't make out the writing on the front.

    A little Silver, Indians, Wheats

    Found these Saturday. Don't find many IH pennies, so it was a great day out for me. Only thing I changed this time out was turning Fast Off. Don't know if it made a real difference, but they just sounded better.
