    Starting with a BANG.

Haven't seen one of those since my gunsmith days. It is missing some parts: front sight and cylinder pin for sure and probably broke off. RG pistols were junk when new and a favorite of city gangs due to price.

    Coil Question

Strange my Eclipse 950 is stamped as V rated and I have used it on my V3i numerous times. The Eclipse 950 is also the stock coil that is shipped with the VX3 a 2.5kHz to 22.5kHz machine. The only difference is the 950 is a concentric as opposed to a Double D coil like the 10".

    December 2015 Silver

December 2015 has been a good month for finding silver in the parks. The ground has been moister than usual for here. I am hoping the snow we had yesterday will burn off and I will get a few more days before the year ends. Hope everyone has had a safe and Merry Christmas!

    V3i 9" coil

I use the 9" for hunting swimming beaches and shallow water and it is $100 off retail. Concentric coils work best for this. If you will be hunting old lots and trashy areas try for a 4x6 or 6x10 deal.

    2nd relic hunt with v3i

I had miss interpreted what you were asking when trying to differentiate between iron and lead. I assumed you wanted to eliminate the iron targets.

    2nd relic hunt with v3i

In an area with potential for Civil War artifacts; why would you not want to dig iron objects. Rifle parts, bayonets, knife parts, spoons, cannon ball fragments, etc. are all great iron finds for your collection. Detecting with the V3i in a single frequency will give you more depth since the...

    Sensitivity Zoom Screen on V3i

Thanks! Postal it is on the White's site. Re-reading the manuals after playing with the detector for a while always allows something new to soak in that was missed or not understood the first time.

    Sensitivity Zoom Screen on V3i

Larry, What happened to the link for Carl's file (.pdf) for the V3i Advanced User's Guide he was writing? It had some tidbits and better explanations that were not in the original Owner's Guide. It would be good reading for the inquiring minds out there.

    V3i not powering down

I had the two of the arrow keys go out and could not scroll through the menus. Had to send it in for repairs. Pads go out.
