    Hmmm,"Shift"? do the actual wire strands "Shift" Inside the coil? (not knowing how the coils are constructed) Epoxy filled coils maybe?

    MAN MY SHOULDER HURTS

    I had serious shoulder problems with my MXT...I shortend the rod a notch or two,,,,and it made a huge difference..I had some minor back pain,that is all gone too.

    I got a big postcard from Whites on the V3!

    Pull tabs/pull rings

    Thanks for the info. Things like reassigning a tone on a pull tab ought to be added to some kind of FAQ.Name it something like "Helpful Hints for the V3":thumbup:

    WHITE'S = WOW

    Moray, I have the same trouble with my MXT when i get near an electric fence. The fence charger was a big one that kept a huge Herford Bull inside the pasture.I just packed up my detector and moved on to another site..

    Pull tabs/pull rings

    With the 3 freq analyze, do your have a better chance of telling if your target is a pull tab or not?

    MXT was "Bested" today
