    That's what I was wondering. If the gain is worth the extra volume. The killer bee's do have a limiter in them just in case.

    I use killer bee hornets and like them very much. I was wondering if turning the volume control all the way up, so I could adjust the threshold volume down, would be advantageous? If the target volume has to exceed the threshold level to give an audio signal, wouldn't this help with deeper targets?

    I switched from an E-trac to a vx3 this year and the performance is the same. I like the color display as it is much easier to see.

    I had to send my VX3 in as well. I hope that I get similar results. White has certainly stood behind there product and taken care of me well beyond what most companies would.

    I recently got my coils replaced by whites and with the 6x10 dd as long as I keep it to the ground it seems ok. If I put the coil up about shoulder high and shake the machine it falses.     I can't argue with that! I just got off the phone with them and they walked me through a master re set and then the coil was still falsing, so they said to send them the coils and they would send me new ones! WOW that is amazing customer service.

    Well the 6x10 coil that came with the VX3 I traded for has a broken wire. I don't think it is fixable since it is where the strain relief clamps to the cable. I was wondering what would be the best all around coil to get. Was thinking 10X12 sef or d2. Opinions?
