Screen Repair Update (Thank you Minelab)

A big thank you goes out to Minelab for agreeing to cover the cost of repairing the screen on my CTX3030. The detector has been out of warranty for almost a year. This is the original thread: http://www.findmall.com/read.php?86,2289383,2289383#msg-2289383 Thanks again to the forum owners for...

    RE: Screen issue update

Just want to say that I was here at the very beginning when the CTX3030 came out. I was probably one of the first here in Canada to purchase this detector. Unfortunately, as some of you may remember there were some issues that had to be corrected. I for one had a screen that was un-readable...

After a couple of weeks the screen went completely bonkers with the rainbow effect (I could barely see the numbers). It was replaced, no questions asked. A little while later all...

Minelab service is top notch :clapping:

Minelab service here in Canada is just great. Apparently my coil cover is flawed. I sent them an email last night, explained to them what was happening and today a new one is on its way. Thanks Ron L

The strangest thing happened the other day

I was really sitting on the fence with regards to buying a CTX. I have been using my Explorer SE for years and it has been good to me but for some reason on Friday I woke up and had the urge to really want to try this new detector out. I live in Victoria and wanted it in my hands as soon as...
