    Discontinued, this detector should should be placed in some type of detecting hall of fame! Its one beast of a machine! A true legend in its own time.     Will the SEF excellerator coils work with the ID meters

    I was wondering could the sef coils work with my 550 meter as I know the the excellerator double d coils won't work with the sovereign meter. And is it better than the sunray s-12? I use the ID meter heavily.

    Big let down days after a great find!

    Is ID EXCEL still a good detector

    The reason I ask is because you can auto ground balance in th disc. mode!!! which is why I'm still considering this unit as a back up and park hunter. The other coils don't matter as this is for fun hunting and my sovereign is the main old site detector. Wilbur
