    lost my MOJO...

only been out once in the past week or so... and although I had some good finds, I did not enjoy my hunt like I usually do, it was almost like I did it to do it. I also used to wake up everyday and throw the E-trac in the truck for a just in case moment... now it hangs on the garage wall. maybe...

    tomorrow morning...

will be my first day out MDing since my last incident... I am going right back to the lot I left off on... most older Places I can hunt local are in "da hood"... once a very booming area in the late 1800's early 1900's... so when the city tears down a house and owns the lot... it's fair game. I...

Looking for a usb cable for my Etrac

It's a standard USB printer cable, I think walmart sells them, or your local office supply store... I'll look for mine, if I can find it I'll let you have it. I have a box of misc cables from over the years.

    my "real" finds..last 2 weeks

Right? Sad part is a crushed aluminum can will ring in the high silver range on the E-trac.. 12-47/48 and give you a nice tone both ways.. like posted before if you lift your coil upa foot or even higher and it's still giving a good signal it's a can, or so I thought:unsure: I found one silver...

    my "real" finds..last 2 weeks

great reply, and may I add... by digging junk you learn about the VDI numbers and tones of your machine... I'll be hunting with someone and I call out my plugs.. "this is a new style pull tab" this is a screw top cap" this is a ring pull, this is brass... I know what I'm digging is trash most of...

cross this one off my list...

all these years and never found one till today... my first Kennedy half. a 1977 seems like over the years all my hunting buddies found them... not me. it rang a solid 05-47 both ways on the E-trac.

how do you store your "keeper coins"????

for years I have just thrown them into a pile in some sort of container... I just went out and bought these... this is how I have been storing my silver... and yes even the 21 D merc... but I did separate it from the pile...

how my finds rang in today...

I'm technology challenged... I still use a flip phone and carry a Nikon Coolpix camera... I wouldn't know how to make a video... I was actually thinking of hiring someone to make a parody video of some of the MDers I watch... I'm all about the laugh and having a good time... a few or more than...

how my finds rang in today...

I wish I could film while hunting... today's wheats.. one came in at 12-35 bouncing to 41 on the 180 turn... the other was straight up 12-42 all day... both were about the same depth... I normally don't dig a 12-35(twist top bottle cap) unless it's 4" or deeper... but when I swung 180 and it hit...

back to the fairgrounds for the Rosie...

had to drop my wife off at the airport this morning at 0430 so on the way home with the sun just rising I hit the grassy end of the lot and swung for about an hour , maybe an hour and a half... seems like the E-trac dime killer has turned into a clad quarter hunter! I've never found more clad...
