Nox 800 coming in the mail.
My E-trac was stolen in 2016, no detecting for 3 years... just this past March I bought the Equinox800 and only had it two weeks, it's a great machine...but there is just too much involved for me. I had to turn on the Nox, then hold the button and turn on the headphones... very small button and...- gunwolf

How close can two detectors get???
Hunted today next to a CTX 3030... when he fired it up my E-trac went nuts, switched through a few channels manually and found my sweet spot... we both made great finds...- gunwolf

finally got me one of those tokens...
the 1910 Boy Scouts Club Good Luck token... it was not deep, which was surprising... it is pretty toasted and most of the words are hard to read... something excelsior shoe co Portsmouth... and with the 4 wheats it puts me over 100 FTY...- gunwolf

Downside
yes it will... Bethlehem steel in Buffalo NY... Tonawanda Coke plant in Tonawanda NY... tore out many sidewalks and driveways working construction when I was younger, most of the houses built in the 40's -60's had Coke deposits used as fill instead of stone... one way to get rid of it...:rolleyes:- gunwolf

silver dime Trifecta...well sort of...
yeh I know... the E-trac is a silver hound, it's also a dime sniffer... the E-trac does get heavy once in while, especially when the 13" is on... using the 8x6SEF is like swinging an empty stick, today I had the stock coil on... went out this morning to a local park, met up with Matt from Tennessee adventures... I was doing a grass area near the parking lot and pulled two clad quarters at 6", another 5 steps and I get a solid 12-43 kinda shallow at about 4 " out pops the Barber! strange how Clad quarters got a few...- gunwolf

looking at used AT pro...
I figured I would post here... I'm close to picking up a secondary detector , not really a backup but one I can swing every now and then to change things up or in certain situations. tones VS VDI numbers
another thing I noticed lately that is very important to my recent finds increase... it has not rained here in almost 3 weeks and the ground is VERY dry.
