Can Dogs hear our metal detectors ?

I don’t know about dogs hearing our metal detectors but years ago I was detecting underwater in about 5’ water in the Caribbean all by myself at a resort early in the morning when I was surprised by a Dolphin approaching me and looking at me face to face for at least a minute, which seemed like...

    Excalibur strikes again !

Had an hour in the water yesterday, found a few coins initially then got 7 rings in the last 30 minutes. Would have stayed longer but was feeling cold . The engagement ring is 18k white gold.

Minelab Equinox 800 - Civil War Relic Hunting - Finding What the other Detectors Missed

I found a bunch of coins from the 30's and 40's on my own front yard with the EQ800 that I had gone over multiple times before with other detectors over the years !!

    Man drowns while metal detecting

There's a picture of him in the water on a news website. He's wearing a wet suit but no scuba gear. !0 feet is a bit too deep imo to free dive if you're metal detecting. I would have at least used a hookah rig at that depth or alternatively stick to a depth where you can stand up and breath if...

    New saltwater Detector

I had aFisher CZ20 that I used in salt water and was a great machine, it paid for itself many times over !! For the last 5 years I used an Excel II and again I have had no problems only fantastic finds underwater . You can't go wrong with either one. People that have problems tend to complain...

    MUU not seeing EQ800

Yes, I changed ports but I think it was a weak connection at the detector end.

    Strange but true.

I have detected my front yard multiple times using Tesoro BAndito max 2 , Fisher CZ20 and Minelab Sovereign GT. Found lead bullets a 1945 quarter , a buffalo nickel and some clad. Got my EQ800 last year and went over the front yard again, I found a coin spill almost right in front of the front...

    MUU not seeing EQ800

I downloaded the app and followed the instructions to update the software to V3.0 The app does not seem to react when the machine is connected to the USB. The green charging light flashes and I am following the instruction word for word. I have updated in the past without ant problems to earlier...

    Equinox is amazing !

I've hunted my front yard many times in the last 25 years and since I've had my EQ800 in April this year , I've found coins that I that I must have passed over dozens of times with other machines . Only yesterday I was playing around with noise cancelling and ground balancing and I found 5 coins...

    EQ 800 impressive !!

My house wag built in the 1930's and I've been over the front yard multiple times with all my detectors over the years including tesoro's , fisher, and Minelabs but this EQ800 keeps on finding coins that I missed with all my other detectors. First time I tried on front yard I found a coin spill...

    EXCAL V'S EQ800

I took my excal and my eq800 to the caribbean to do some underwater hunting. Long story short, I found the EQ to chatty despite playing around with GB, noise and sensitivity. Maybe I'm just more familiar with the excal but it was more stable but it found 5 out of the 6 rings. I still like my...
