    Thanks for the tip, John. I was just using the High Pro mode. I may have overcranked it but it wasn't giving false signals. I'll try the Relic mode next. Anyway, do you have any idea why the Mercury was giving such weird hits? I almost didn't dig it.

    Took out my new to me V3i

    I took my V3i out to my test garden and tested it on my 9+ inch deep copper Lincoln and silver dime. In 2.5kHz the detector bangs really good with a good VDI and that with the stock 10" DD coil. Boost was off. I tried the Multi-freq. and it didn't hit on the coins. If anyone knows how to adjust...

    Just ordered the Ultimate 13 inch coil for the V3i

    Does one need to do this every time one changes a coil? So if I put on my 13 SEF, I make changes in loop selection but then I put on a 7" coil, I need to make changes again?

    XLT verses DFX?

    I've read that some folks who have an XLT and a DFX believe their XLT outdetects their DFX. One person recently said his XLT goes deeper than his DFX and identifies targets better at depth. What are your thoughts on this?

    Finds today

    Found the 14K gold ring with small diamond and amethyst stone and buffalo in a park this morning with my E-trac. First gold ring with the Etrac. Later tonight took the Deus in the back yard and scored another buffalo and merc. HH!

    Simultaneus Multi-Frequency

    I just saw a video where the tester said the new detector has simultaneous multi-frequency technology. So the detector has freqs of 5,10,15,20 and 40 kHz. So does these mean all these frequencies are simultaneous or all at the same time? That's how I take "simultaneous" to mean.
