    MXT 300 12" Coil vs Super 12 Coil

    The coil on the "300" is a little different than the "Super 12" The coil cover for the Super 12 is too small for the 300 coil, so there must be some kind of difference in the two...........................

    Went to my fav campsite and found a a few. Seems as thou the 50 has the same depth as the 70 when relic hunting with the 10.5 DD 7.5 kHz coil.

    I picked up one used but when you pass a coin under it, it double beeps and when I try to pinpoint with it, it does not do anything. The 8" stock coil works fine........Bad Coil?:confused:

    Coil Hole Plugs NEWS FLASH!!!

    Relic Hunting With The T2......TID Numbers

    Has anyone compiled data on the target read outs of say, buttons & bullets? I find that 3 ringers depending on depth read in the high 40's but I found a eagle cuff button at 10" last weekend that read the same.........just curious

    Question On The 5x10 18.75 DD Coil

    I noticed in the coil chart that it is NOT waterproof. How would it work in wet grass, say, after a dew on the ground? Is there any way to seal it?:minelab:
