    Finally, first silver

    Posted awhile back on not finding silver with my x70. Well, the drought is over. Found an 1876 25 ore silver Norwegian coin. Allot of Norwegian immigrants in my area. Wish I had a digital camera working to take a pic. Maybe in the future. It rang out at 38 on the x70.

    I detect in the midwest, northcentral north dakota to be exact. When manual ground balancing with the 3 khz coil I typically get from 22 to 28. Would a 18.75 coil work better with the higher mineralization? I have the 5x10 and 6" in 18.75. Just curious if they would perform better, or if the...
