    Coiltek Platypus repairable?

    I am getting only 5” air test on a gold ring with my Extreme and a used Platypus coil I bought. I’m thinking it should be double this. Can this coil be repaired as it is waterproof I’m thinking it is all epoxy. Don’t know what would cause this either. Any tips? Cable seems good.

    How about people post some air test data on current day nickel, quarter, dime, and perhaps a nice mercury dime for silver and we see if our machines compare well. Give setup parameters - mode, recovery speed say 3?, sensitivity 25 if you can - 20 if you can't (say so). Really keep everything off...
